New Ornaments listed

Hi All,

I just listed 2 ornaments on Deb's Pane In The Glass.

I had purchased a while back from DIYOrnament, a package of filigree for my stained glass. I was thinking of the holiday sbecause many years ago I made ornaments using them. I decided to make a few this morning & see if they sell on Etsy.

Final Making of a Stained Glass Business Card Holder For NotSoShabbyChic

Well, its done, paid for and shipped! I know the expression on her face when she opens the box. Another happy customer ;)
I also send a Thank You card with instructions on how to clean Stained Glass along with a gift as a Thank You.

Part 3 of Making a Stained Glass Business Card Holder

As I was sending her photos of her card holder, she was very excited in her emails to me. That's what I like to see, anticipation and the excitement. I know my customers will be very grateful when they receive a piece of art from me, especially after seeing how it is being made.
Here is a photo of it coming together:

Part 2 of Making a Stained Glass Business Card Holder

NotSoShabbyChic was given 3 different photos. All showed the same pink glass but each had a different color for the diamond effect. The one I am showing you is the one she picked out.
Here is a pic of it cut and grinded. Looks like puzzle pieces doesn't it? well, its one of the steps in making a suncatcher, window panel, etc., is to cut each piece, using a pattern then grind each piece so the edges are smooth and fit like a puzzle piece. She received this in the mail too. I like to show a customers work in progress.

The Making of a Business Card Holder for NotSoShabbyChic

Afternoon Everyone!

I wanted to show you how a Stained Glass product is made. I have just sold this beautiful Custom made Woman's Business Card Holder to NotSoShabbyChic today.
She had asked me if the Men's Business Card Holder I am selling on Etsy could be in pink with the diamond being a clear glass. Of course I told her she can have whatever color she chooses, so, below, you will see the pics I had sent her before I actually made it.
Just to let you all know, whenever I design/make something for a customer, I send pictures to show them what is taking place, step by step.

I'M IN A TREASURY!!

I am soooo excited! I just went into my Pane In The Glass shop and found an email. It was from a person I don't know, which took me back a bit but I'm thinking, like me, they browse other shops and heart them. This is a beautiful treasury and not because my custom made window panel was used for it but because there are so many other beautiful items on it!
There so many talented artists out there I always wonder why go to big Department Stores to shop where you can come right to Etsy to purchase baby, womens, mens, home etc!

Please check out this beautiful treasury and Thank You DCHStudio for putting me in your beautiful Treasury ;)

Good Morning All

Good Morning Everyone and boy, I truly mean all 13 of you!
To be honest with you, I haven't noticed how many people I had on my blog until today. I hardly look at the #. The last time I actually Looked at it was maybe a month ago? At that time, I had a few, like 6 I think,so, I want to say Thank you for wanting to follow me. It makes me feel good to know that not only I have followers but that I am doing the right thing by making a blog for the shop and learning how to use the internet properly instead of just searching.
I can say now that I am enjoying Google Analytic because I've learned somewhat the basics of How to use it and I'm enjoying Etsy even though I am Still learning but got the hang of it so I am now feeling comfortable posting my stained glass items and chatting in the rooms. I've been meeting a lot of nice people in the rooms and admire their craft. The only thing I wish not (not yet anyway) is to get too personal about my life. There is a lot going on with my family right now (and what family isn't going through hell at this time) but Etsy and this blog is my escape from reality at times so again, my thank you for just being here.
Well, I have to finish with the gardens...more transplanting seedlings, fixing the cucumber vines so I'll be in the room sometime today. If your reading this now, thanks for letting me "vent" ;)
I wish you all a great Sunday ;)

Etsy Technology Help

Good Morning All!

I sometimes go into Forums on Etsy to ask questions about things like the Google Analytic and such, so one day I had a question and a nice person replied but she had given me much more to read/understand/learn and I thought this again was a good opportunity to share the information with you.

http://etsytechnologyhelp.blogspot.com/2009/05/how-to-find-out-who-has-mentioned-your.html

Within this above blog, there was a site I fell upon and I was very interested in. Its a site and a good resource of how to find out who mentions your blog. You can track who mentions your blog in theirs. Pretty interesting huh? Who would have thought of something like this? Not me.
Internet has come a long way, that's for sure! I'm just happy there are folks like Magnet Games and Tim Adam that helps folks like me and you become knowledgeable in this fast pace computer world we live in! I love these computer kids! (Giving away my age ;) )
Magnet Games has a "donate" section to keep her site running. I'm thinking if I have some spare money, I'm going to give to her. Her site is well worth it in my eyes.
I'm glad to help you too by searching and posting, for you and for me. Under these economic times, we need to help each other out one way or another ;)

Have a great weekend all

Free Shipping

I changed my shipping in my Etsy site, on certain items such as Suncatchers, Window Corners and Business Card Holders. I've decided to charge no shipping in the US.

Unfortunately, at present time, I cannot do it for International postage. Hopefully, in the future, I can at least reduce the cost.

I am only doing this for certain Stained Glass items due to the size/weight. My Lamps and Window Panels will be costly to ship so there is a charge for those items.
